Career Focused Training and Continuing Education

Aspen High School's Post-Secondary Counseling is committed to helping each student create a personalized plan and guide them towards realizing their dreams for life after high school -- whether that includes: 4-year colleges, 2-year colleges, technical/trade schools, professional certifications, apprenticeships, military, workforce, or other.

Mike Rowe, of Dirty Jobs fame, joins the PBS News Hour to discuss the need for skilled tradespeople.

Post-Secondary Counseling, in partnership with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, hosted an event on February 3rd titled "Practical Alternatives to a Traditional 4-Year Degree" to explore a variety of options for next steps after high school including skills-based, hands-on training programs that prepare students for steady jobs with lucrative pay.
