Aspen High School Hope Squad: Our goal is to prevent suicide through education, reducing stigma and being a friend and resource to those who need help.

Students and instructors formed the Hope Squad last school year, 2022-23, with the mission of preventing teen suicide through training, education, peer intervention and extending a helping hand to students who may be struggling with mental health issues.

The Hope Squad, which has nearly 30 AHS members from all grades, has prepared a list of resources for their fellow students. They’ve planned small, thoughtful events for Hope Week in an effort to raise awareness of teen mental health issues and make students aware of the resources they can tap into.
