Application Components:

  • Essay: Complete a 1-2 page research essay comparing Aspen to Chamonix. Give your completed hard copy essay to Jolaine Pfeifer at the Aspen High School Registrars' Office.

  • Interview (tentatively May 8th, 2024): Everyone who applies will be granted an interview. The interview process consists of a face-to-face 20-minute interview with the student and includes a 5-minute interview with both the student and his/her parent. You will be contacted to set up your interview appointment.

  • Teacher Recommendations: You will also need THREE AHS teachers to complete a recommendation form (one that comes from a previous EX ED leader). You will provide teacher names in your online application form and Sister Cities will forward application forms to teachers. Contact Jane Larsen, jlarsen@aspenk12.net, with any questions
